Dr. Adams is an Iowa native who grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa. After high school Dr. Reid attended the University of Iowa, graduating with a bachelor’s degree. Following graduation, he served four years in the United States Navy. While in the navy he began receiving chiropractic care which sparked his interest into chiropractic, and ultimately led to his desire to help others by becoming a chiropractor! After his service in the Navy, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated with honors along with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
While at Palmer, Dr. Adams learned a variety of different adjusting techniques, soft tissue treatments, rehab exercises and therapies to help patients of all ages and demographics regain and maintain their health. He has additional certifications in Functional Movement Assessment to identify dysfunctional movement patterns that may be the root cause of the problem. He is also certified in the Webster technique, which focuses on the treatment of women that are pregnant and post-partum. He has also received additional training in pediatric care.
When Dr. Reid is not treating patients, he enjoys weight lifting and running. He also enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Jessica, his 2-year-old daughter, Olivia, and his 3 month old son, Riley.
