Dr. Adams is an Iowa native who grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa. After high school Dr. Reid attended the University of Iowa, graduating with a bachelor’s degree. Following graduation, he served four years in the United States Navy. While in the navy he began receiving chiropractic care which sparked his interest into chiropractic, and ultimately led to his desire to help others by becoming a chiropractor! After his service in the Navy, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated with honors along with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
While at Palmer, Dr Adams learned a variety of different adjusting techniques, soft tissue techniques, soft tissue treatments, rehab exercises and therapies to help patients of all ages and demographics regain and maintain their health. He has additional certifications in Functional Movement Assessment to identify dysfunctional movement patterns that may be the root of the problem. He is also certified in the Webster technique, which is for the care of women that are pregnant and for post-partum care. He has also received training in pediatric care.
When Dr Reid is not treating patients, he enjoys weight lifting and running. He also enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Jessica, and his 2-year-old daughter, Olivia. In addition, he enjoys reading, grilling and watching the Hawkeyes!
